Catching up

Seem to have got behind in my blogging so will combine them on this post.

CIA (Christmas in August)
Last Saturday my Stampin’ Up group of demonstrators – WOW paperKRafters led by our fearless leader, Karen (aka Karensa slayer of the Alpha Mephistopheles!!) – held our annual Christmas in August event.  Look at all the demos working hard.

This is a little box containing 4 note cards that I made for a door prize.  This was won (together with a stamp set) by Elaine Mobberley – congratulations.

The afternoon was a great success despite the pouring rain.

ATCs – Artists Trading Cards
I took part along with some other demonstrators in an ATC swap.  The theme was childhood.  Check out my entry (top row on right) along with the cute and clever ATCs I received back.

ATCs
Oops, somehow I seem to have got the same card up twice.  Never mind!
Contributors are:
Top row L-R: Wendy Herbert, Vicky-Lee Mueller, Carol McCready, Me
Bottom row L-R: Kristine McNickle, Lisa Bullock, Deborah Ryan (I think!! – no name on back)

They are all so great aren’t they?IMG_1392

Circle Brayered card

I made this card using the Circle Scissors to create a mask which I then brayered and stamped.  A very simple and yet effective card which was ideal for, in this case, a male birthday.

Well think I must be just about caught up now.

Have fun – wishing you inky fingers and lots of glitter!

(Good to see you speak your fearless leader's lingo now - warrior princess she is!)

Judy, how have you been? I love the pic of your grandson. What a great card too. I haven't been online in a while, but I've been back in the studio and thought I would catch up with all of my Sister.
Love and hugs, Leslie

Thanks for popping in to catch up on what is happening in my life. I enjoy sharing my love of stamping and cardmaking and invite you to have a look at the projects I have made. You are welcome to take my ideas and use them in your own creations.
