NZSU Colour Challenge

I’m glad this challenge was extended for a further week as I never got around to doing it last week.

The challenge was to use either River Rock, Cherry Cobbler and Marina Mist or River Rock, Not Quite Navy and Tangerine Tango.  I chose the second choice mainly because it put me right out of my comfort level and sometimes we need to do that, don’t we.

Anyway, here’s the card I came up with:

You can’t tell from the photo but I ran a strip of the DSP (retired) down the right side of the inside of the card so that it would show through the punched border.

Felt quite happy with the overall result.

It's amazing what exceeds our boundaries when our comfort zones are challenged isn't it??? Frankly I know I wld have struggled with BOTH, but prob wld have gone the 2nd combo too. I love the fact that there is no WW or VV CS to speak of. Totally gives a different and wonderful vibe. Well don. Thanks also for your blog love.

Thanks for popping in to catch up on what is happening in my life. I enjoy sharing my love of stamping and cardmaking and invite you to have a look at the projects I have made. You are welcome to take my ideas and use them in your own creations.
