As promised ….

Finally I am updating my blog.  Sorry to have taken so long.  The last time I posted was just before we left for THE BIG CRUISE!!!  Yes, it was absolutely wonderful and hubby and I enjoyed ourselves very much.  If you have never been on a cruise before I can honestly recommend it.  I will post some photos from our cruise but before then here is a 70th Birthday card I made for my very good friend and neighbour Joan.  Once again congratulations Joan and hope you enjoyed your birthday.

Joan's 70th birthday card

Just had to try out my new dies, the labels framelits and the edgelits as well as the edgelits embossing folder.

I don’t think the DSP is current but am trying to use up all my back supplies because I want to not feel guilty about buying more.

Now I have made other cards during my AWOL period but somehow have forgotten to photograph them before sending them off.

I have also been to a few classes recently and made some gorgeous cards which I will share with you at a later date.

Our Cruise photos:

These are just a few photos of our cruise around New Zealand, then over to Tasmania and Australia.  As you can see we were so, so lucky with the weather and had beautiful sunny days practically the whole cruise.  A wonderful late summer as we went in late March and the first 2 weeks of April.

Update on Me:

Just a quick update to let you all know that I am still at this stage off my chemo medication and am really enjoying feeling a lot better.  I still have to go every 6 weeks for a bone strengthening infusion and will be seeing the Haematology specialist at the end of June.  Before seeing him I will be having more blood tests and another MRI scan and the results of these will determine whether I have to go back on the chemo or not – so keep your fingers (and toes!) crossed for me.  This is to do with the Myeloma cancer;  I still seem to be in remission for the Ovarian cancer and don’t think I have to go back to those specialists until about August or so then will know if that is still okay.

Now this is a very, very long post for me.  At present I am busy working on two projects, both special birthday ones – a 21st and a 100th birthday!  Will show you what I have done when finished.

Take care and happy crafting.
