Happy drinks

Love this stamp – it shows the good times that old friends enjoy when celebrating!  I also enjoyed colouring this in with my Spectrum Noir pens.

Hope you are all enjoying the weekend.

Hello again..

I had a look at my blog and got a shock.  Was it really that long ago that I posted!  This winter has been a long, wet and windy one and I for one will be glad when we finally get some summer weather.  I think I must have hibernated over the winter months and must admit I have been really lazy – read a lot, caught up on TV programmes I had recorded and generally mucked around.  I did make some cards though so will have to post these up here gradually over the next couple of weeks.

This is a 21st birthday card I sent to my niece’s daughter in Brisbane.

Watch out for my next post  …

For a sweet little girl

My niece in Australia recently gave birth to her seond child – a lovely little girl.  I made her this card and sent it with a little pressie.

I was thrilled with the way this turned out.  Soft and feminine for a little newborn girl.

Best wishes to Gemma, Troy and big brother Ayden  …  and of course love and welcome to Tanisha.

Hope you enjoy looking at this.

Belated Birthday greetings

Guess what – I forgot my sister’s birthday!!  My daughter reminded me later that day so I did ring her but felt terrible that I hadn’t remembered. I made this card and sent her so hope I am now forgiven.

Really love this gold washi tape – it just finished the card off great.

Happy stamping.

Dahlia embossing x 3

Last Sunday Karen and I enjoyed a great class at Debbies.  These are the three beautiful cards we made all featuring the dahlia stamp in gold, Pool Party and White embossing.  The gold embossed card was also watercoloured.

These cards look much nicer in real life.IMG_2836

Another male birthday card – this one for Sam our second eldest grandson (we have 4 grandsons).  Sam has just turned 20.  Have a great year Sam.

I love these old-fashioned pictures – must be my age!!

Two dogs …

Another non-Stampin’ Up stamp used for this card for my youngest grandson.  He has just turned 14 – Happy Birthday TJ.

I have been enjoying doing colouring in using Spectrum Noir markers that blend really well together.

Anyway. here is the card I made him:

Thinking Big with Washi

Wanted to experiment with Washi tape and the stamp set Tape It.  This is what I came up with.

I actually love this – especially the colours I have used.  Must do more experimental cards in the future.

Hope this cloudy weather gives you all the chance to stay indoors and craft!  Enjoy.

Wetlands – askew!!

A card I made using the Stampin’ Up Wetlands stamp set.  However I unfortunately stamped the greeting a little askew!!

I have a couple more cards to show you at a later date.  They are for birthdays coming up so until then, they have to remain secret!  The one I have just shown you was for no-one in particular so may re-do the greeting on this so that I can use it.

Hope you are all enjoying the long Auckland Anniversary weekend.

Cheers

Thanks for popping in to catch up on what is happening in my life. I enjoy sharing my love of stamping and cardmaking and invite you to have a look at the projects I have made. You are welcome to take my ideas and use them in your own creations.
