A vintage card

This has been CASEd but for the life of me, can’t remember where I saw it so apologies as I am unable to give due credit to the creator.

Have changed the stamp sets used and the ribbon, but otherwise have kept pretty much to the original colours as I think they work well.

Belated Xmas Thanks

Received this lovely card from Michelle of our SBS#25 group a couple of weeks ago and meant to acknowledge this straight away but somehow it got overlooked.

Thanks Michelle for my Surfin’ Santa card – it’s real neat and want to wish you all the best for the New Year too (bit late to wish you Merry Christmas!!).

Goodbye Sweet Mario

Two questions for you  ...  1. Why do we get so attached to our pets? and 2. Why do dogs have such a short life-span?

Yes, it's been a sad week for my daughter, son-in-law and two grandsons.  They lost their beloved pet, Mario. And yes, my husband and I were upset too as he was as much part of our family as our own dog Rosie is.  They were like the gang of two whenever they were together though Rosie used to boss poor Mario around something terrible but as he was so gentle and kind, he didn't seem to mind.

Anyway Mario left us last Monday.  So goodbye sweet little dog and thanks for the treasured memories.

Happy New Year to all

We had a great evening with neighbours and friends at our house.  Our neighbour David brought over some fireworks which he let off at midnight to bring in the New Year.  Thanks all for coming.

Have had a quiet reflective time since then with plenty of cardmaking.  Here’s the latest bunch of cards I have made at the request of my daughter – hope she likes them and that they are suitable for her needs.
