Wish Big

Continuing the run of birthdays is this card I made for my grandson’s 18th birthday.  Have a great one Sam.

I hope he manages to achieve all his ambitions in life.  I was just thinking how nice it would be to have your life all over again.  There are so many more opportunities today than there were when I was that age.  If I had been able to have all these choices then I wonder what path I would have chosen.  Now that’s food for thought!!!

Start of the birthday season

The first family member to have a birthday this year (apart from me!) was my youngest grandson who turned 12 about 12 days ago.  I should have put his card up here sooner.

I used the cute weightlifter from the Stampin’ Up Under the Big Top set.  Why did I pick this stamp?  Well TJ was in a musical production “Seussical:” last year and this is the part he played.  Gee he just looked so spunky!

Gosh he will be a teenager next year and that will be the last of my “little” grandsons.  Why do they grow up so fast?

Just a thought

Before I show you this card I would like to reassure everyone that yes, even though I have resigned as an SU demonstrator, I will definitely still be posting to my blog.

A card I made using a technique with the Top Note die that I saw here.  Don’t you agree that it is very cute?

Thanks for popping in to catch up on what is happening in my life. I enjoy sharing my love of stamping and cardmaking and invite you to have a look at the projects I have made. You are welcome to take my ideas and use them in your own creations.
