I wouldn’t blame you if my blog’s been crossed off your visiting list! It’s been over a month since I last posted but I have had a lot of other things going on family wise so hope you will forgive me.
Creative Inkers Team Training Day
Last Saturday (18th) I attended the Creative Inkers’ Team Training Day. A fabulous day with some great projects – see below. Thanks to everyone who organised and demonstrated.
Ann Wills art frame Rhonda’s buckle card
Rhonda’s gift card holder Bron Heslop’s nautical card
Help – Do you recognise this card?
There are several scenarios, including the one where my memory loss is getting worse!
Was this an original design by me?
Did I make this at a class?
Did I case it from someone else?
Just can’t remember though I do remember making it but not where, when or how!!
Some more cards I have made
And my current favourite …………………
I love this French Foliage stamp set that is in the current Autumn/Winter mini catalogue. Such a versatile set and can be combined with so many other stamp sets.
Rosie
This is our loving little dog Rosie who I am sorry to say has been recently diagnosed with a Mast Cell Tumour. It is a high grade cancer and because the tumour is on the top of her right rear paw cannot be removed without amputating. As she will be 12 y.o. this year the vet has recommended palliative treatment and just letting nature take its course. Heartbreaking and we will have to make that final call as to when enough is enough and ensure she doesn’t suffer. We are going to miss her so very much.
Well that’s about all for now. I won’t go into all the boring bits about my ongoing cancer problems. Have to go and see the thyroid surgeon next week and then the following day have an appointment at oncology. When I know what it is they intend to do I’ll let you know.
Hope you are managing to get plenty of stamping and crafting done while the weather is so miserable.
