Last Saturday we had another great afternoon of stamping and good company – what a lucky girl I am! Despite having to vacate the hall when the fire alarm went off (think the restaurant downstairs burnt the noodles!) we still managed to get our four lovely projects finished.
Take a look at these and eat your hearts out!!!
This Tall Tales Backpack Box & Card set was presented by Rachael and Barbara. Isn’t this just too cute! It holds four cards and you can also put some small gift labels in the little pocket attached to the front. Sorry, didn’t finish making the cards so can’t show them so you won’t see the SAB Whimsical Words set that we used. Perhaps later.
This is called a Reflection card … and on reflection think I need to practice my sponging technique. Might try it later on glossy cardstock as it is easier to sponge onto. This card uses the SAB set Good Neighbours. This project was presented by Jacque and Bron. You most definitely need a Stamp-A-Ma-Jig for this card!
Have you seen a Magic Card before? Take a look at this – it’s fascinating. Normal view shows the bird on the front in black and white but when you pull the ribbon attached to the tab the bird pops out in full colour. Really magic!!
Thanks Ann and Julia for presenting this.
Janine and Karen were the presenters of this Photoframe Easel card. The sentiment inside was stamped using Whimsical Words (another SAB set). Love butterflies don’t you. These are in three layers – the top layer is vellum which gives a very delicate look to them. The stamp set on the inset piece is the very popular and versatile Pocket Silhouettes.
Arrived home exhausted but very, very happy. Hope you also had a nice weekend.
