… that the results of the bone marrow biopsy I had last week have come back clear – I don’t have Multiple Myeloma but will have to still have some radiation treatment around the area of the rib resection. Then they will keep monitoring me to make sure that the Plasmacytoma hasn’t progressed to Multiple Myeloma but even it it does, that could be a few years down the track.
I also had a CT scan last week in another attempt to find out where the fallopian/ovarian cancer has returned as my CA125 levels are still steadily rising. The results of this came back clear too leaving the doctors more puzzled than ever. The only area they haven’t scanned is the head/brain so I am now down to have one of these and only hope they don’t find anything there either. On a lighter note, they probably won’t find anything anyway!!! Think my brain ran away a long time ago!
All these tests and hospital visits lately are the main reason I haven’t been blogging. Actually, I was feeling rather down and depressed at the thought of trying to cope with two cancers as I am finding it hard enough with one so now that at least one worry is lifted from me I am feeling a lot more positive.
I do have some cards and other news to share with you, but just wanted to let you know how relieved and thankful I am with my clear prognosis. I will post again in the next couple of days.

YAY Judy! You've made my weekend! So thrilled to hear that the biopsy came back clear (though the procedure doesn't sound much fun!). Will be praying that they quickly find why your CA125 levels are rising, and that it's a simple fix. BIG hugs, chick! You're an awesome woman. (And thank you for the update).
Glad to hear your Biopsy is over and it was clear & done with Judy and they sort out your CA125 levels soon.
Hugs from me
Such great news Judy. Fingers crossed for the next scan too. xxx
THAT IS AWESOME NEWS!!!! About time you had some positive news! I am so excitied for you! Finally you can breath a sigh of relief. Stay positive Aunty Judy, try not to get too stressed about the upcoming tests...why waste all that energy when it may be clear too! Fingers crossed!!! Wish I was there to give you a huge hug and pour you a G&T to celebrate!! All my Love, Always...Tina xxxxx
Judy, thank you for posting how you are doing. I have thought of you often and am so excited to hear your biopsy came back clear!! What fantastic news. I agree with Tina though, try not to get too worried (easier said than done), but until you know what is going on, you need to save all of your energy, all that radiation and crap really takes a toll on you. Please know I'm thinking of you and keeping you covered in my prayers. Hugs friend, Leslie
